Two charming 18th-century stone holiday cottages idyllically situated on the rural fringe of Rainow, an attractive village located in the rolling hills between the delights of the Peak District & the many & varied tourist destinations of the Cheshire Plain.

Restored to a high standard & comfortably furnished, the cottage has beautiful views across open countryside & there are excellent walks from the doorstep. The Gritstone Trail passes within 1/2 mile of the cottages & Macclesfield Forest and Teggs Nose Country Park are within 3 miles. Rainow is a great base for exploring other local attractions. Manchester and the Trafford Centre lie only 25 miles away. Cheshire's stately homes & Gardens of Distinction, which include Tatton, Adlington, Arley & Gawsworth, are a short drive away. The well-known home of the Duke of Devonshire,Chatsworth House, along with the town of Bakewell and medieval Haddon Hall are only 20 miles away. 9 miles away lies the 'Bath of the North', the spa town of Buxton where you can 'take the waters', take in a show at the Opera House or stroll around the Crescent and pretty Pavilion Gardens. Arts, crafts, antique fairs and festivals are to be found throughout the region along with bars & food outlets to suit every taste & pocket.
