The Joderell Bank Discovery centre
The Joderell Bank Discovery Centre is the home of Lovell telescope which is the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world and is a great day out for all the family where you can explore the wonders of the universe
Located in the heart of Cheshire, Capesthorne, with its elegant interior, photogenic gardens. Capesthorne Hall's chapel and gardens are open on Sundays, Mondays and bank holidays from 12pm until 4pm. The hall is open from 1.30pm till 4pm.
Lyme Park, House and Gardens
Nestling on the edge of the Peak District, Lyme Park was once home to the Legh family and, in its heyday a great sporting estate.
The 1,300 acre estate with its medieval herd of red and fallow deer offers fantastic walks and stunning views.
Buxton Opera House
The Buxton Opera House hostes a variety of music and comedy performances to suit all tastes.
Located in Buxton the highest market town in Britain which itself is well worth a visit.
The Goyt Valley is located in the Peak District National Park in the heart of England and combines some of the most picturesque valley, moorland, river and reservoir scenery to be found in the United Kingdom. Each year thousands of visitors travel to the valley from near and far to experience the unique landscape.
The Robin Hood Inn
The Robin Hood Inn is roughly a 10 minuet walk from the cottages and serves local real ales and home cook food.
Peak View Tearoom
Overlooking the sweeping Peak Park towards the Cheshire plain, the tearoom is an ideal place to relax and unwind in a friendly atmosphere. In winter we always have a roaring fire and in summer you can sit outside and soak in the breathtaking views.
